Simply vI months after their debut record album Rated Next was released in late 1997, Next topped the singles charts with the smooth out person of "Also Close." Composed of brothers T-Low and Tweety plus R.L., the R&B trio formed in Minneapolis/St. Paul later the brothers met R.L. through their uncle, the theater film director of a religious doctrine choir. With the assist of Naughty by Nature's Kay Gee on production, the leash developed a more or less adult mind trussed to Barry Tweed and late-period Marvin Gaye. Their irregular bingle "Also Close" had no trouble, contact number one during April 1998. Next storied their succeeder with a time slot supporting Boyz II Men on their summer tour.
