Penn to head Cannes Film Festival Jury
It has been announced that role player and film director Sean Penn will head the jury at this year's Cannes Photographic film Fete.
In the fete argument announcing his appointee, the 'Into the Wild' director said: "It seems at that place has been a rejuvenation of cinema construction worldwide; progressively thoughtful, provocative, moving, and imaginative films by talented filmmakers: that a fresh generation of filmmaking whitethorn feature begun."
He added: "The Cannes Film Festival has long been the epicenter in the discovery of those new waves of filmmakers from wholly over the world. I very a great deal reckon forwards to participating in this year's festival as prexy of the panel."
